These are practical launch terms for using FaceLore at faceloreapp.com. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and with reasonable care.

What FaceLore provides
FaceLore is a historical and literary face archive with curated cards and AI-generated cards. It is designed for discovery and education, not as a definitive academic, legal, or professional source.
Evidence and generated cards
Historical appearance evidence can be incomplete or disputed. FaceLore describes uncertainty rather than promising certainty where sources do not support it.
AI-generated cards may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or unsuitable portrait choices. Published generated content may be reviewed, corrected, hidden, or removed after publication.
FaceLore Pro
FaceLore Pro provides unrestricted access to cards already published in the archive and lets you save published generated cards. Stripe processes recurring subscription payments. The price, billing interval, taxes, and renewal details shown in Stripe Checkout control your purchase.
You can manage or cancel an active subscription through the Stripe billing portal from Account. Changes take effect according to the timing shown there.
Archive access limits
The Free plan can open three unique published cards each day and can reopen those same cards that day. FaceLore Pro removes that daily opening limit for cards already published in the archive. A subscription does not mean that every person or literary character has a published card.
Acceptable use
- Do not use FaceLore to break laws, harass people, probe security, or interfere with the service.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or deceptive search terms or correction material.
- Do not automate access in a way that evades archive-opening limits or places unreasonable load on the service.
Availability and changes
FaceLore may correct archive cards, adjust features, suspend abusive access, or pause parts of the service for maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
These terms may be updated as the product develops. A new date will appear on this page when material changes are published.
